rabbit hole

rabbit hole is the forthcoming feature film from director, john cameron mitchell.
mitchell's previous efforts, hedwig and the angry inch & shortbus, are among my favourite movies and i have high, high hopes for this.
i love dianne wiest, edward scissorhands's avon lady and no matter how frozen her face is, i'll always have a soft spot for nicole kidman.

fire walk with me

my friend barrow recently introduced me to cult tv show, twin peaks, and i'm hooked.
so imagine my delight when i stumbled upon this genius shoot on vice style inspired by the show.
i only wish i'd thought of it first. fuckers.

day of remembrance

before lindsay lohan could spell fuck-up, she was the original hollywood it-girl wild child.
born while her mother was hooked on heroin and a stint in rehab before her sixteenth birthday, let's all take a minute to remember, bijou phillips.
i think this will be her year.

all hallows eve

my favourite day of the year is just around the corner, halloween.
i never did anything to celebrate the event last year so wanted to make extra effort this time around.

the year previous paul and i dressed as our interpretations of models alice dellal and kate moss pre-death or as paul named us, kate's a-mess and alis da-gal.
i had orginally intended to portray queen bitch lil' kim but i'm bored of taking the comical look.
i say i wanted to make more effort this year but i can't decide whether to dress as pop culture icons, the crow or edward scissorhands.
both require minimal effort from me aside from the make-up.
100% more effort intended next year.

pam hogg

fashion week sort of passed me by this year, too much stress to take much notice and spring/summer is never my favourite season anyway.
i did however manage to catch the pam hogg show on sunday night.
i forgot my camera (again) but here is a little video from art wednesday.
nice surprise to be moved to the front row.

CONFUSION IN WONDERLAND

I am feeling hella confused right now....Zac Efron...the bouncing, bubbly teen actor from High School Musical who we all love to hate has somehow grown into a mini James Dean. I take back every bad word I said against him. Also in the same issue is a photoshoot from Page 3 stunner 'The artist formerly known as Jordan'. Call me superficial but these two are looking great.

harness

my prayers were answered and i got my hands on unique's harness that i'd been eyeing up since their show last season. although as the individual harnesses to purchase were sold out, i had to buy the tshirt with harness attached for an extra twenty notes, only to disregard the tee.
now have a desire to wear this with everything.
worn here with alexander wang double breasted blazer and h&m lace shirt.

it's new york fashion week right now.
yawn yawn bored bored.
i haven't really been paying attention to what's been going on and who's been showing but i did have a quick skim over the alexander wang show earlier.
it seemed mr wang managed to get every single one of the current batch of mega models in the show.
good job, but i found it more exciting to see which model was next rather than which outfit.
hmmm.
